[관심직무분석] Business Analyst 역량 및 스킬셋 살펴보기

그동안 해외 IT컨설팅/제안 직무에서 일하면서 다양한 ICT사업들을 맡아 진행했고, 해당 비즈니스 환경을 경험하면서도 고객 분석이나 프로젝트 실행 방법론적인 측면, 수행 과정의 리스크 관리 등 프로젝트의 A-Z를 경험할 수 있었다. 일을 하면서 의사결정이나 시장 분석과정 등에서 개인적으로 많은 아쉬움이 있었던 '데이터' 역량을 같이 길러오면서, 이를 모두 결합할 수 있는 일이 Business Analyst의 일이라는 생각이 들었다.

비즈니스 분석가(BA) 기본 역할과 책임

 

비즈니스 분석가는 데이터를 분석해 프로세스, 제품, 서비스, 소프트웨어를 개선에 도움을 준다.
이 일을 하는 전문가들은 IT와 비즈니스 간의 틈새를 줄이고 효율을 높인다.

• 프로세스 평가, 요건 판단, 임원 및 이해당사자들에 대한 데이터 지향적 권고사항과 리포팅을 통해 IT와 비즈니스 간의 틈을 메우는 역할을 한다.
• 데이터 분석, 보고하는 방법을 파악하고 해당 정보를 타인과 공유하며 비즈니스 측면에서 적용할 수 있어야 한다.
• 대상이 되는 시스템, 제품, 툴의 메커니즘을 전반적으로 이해할 수 있어야 한다 (IT 도메인 지식)
• 효율화, 변화, 개선을 위한 데이터 기반의 아이디어를 임원, 사용자와 커뮤니케이션하고 기술적으로 적합하고 재무/기능적으로 합리적인지 균형을 맞출 수 있어야 한다.
• 필요요건을 정의하고 우선순위를 설정하여, 이에 대한 피드백 및 실행할 수 있는 승인을 얻어야 한다.

• Evaluating business processes, predicting requirements, designing and implementing solutions
• Analysing business processes and communicating feedback to other team members and management 
• Regular Reporting and Analysis
2) 프로젝트 관리
• Planning and monitoring projects with regular check on requirements
• End to end project management
• Leading and managing teams
• Managing competing resources and priorities with regular check on delivarbales
3) 재무 분석
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Responsible for pricing
4) 리서치/정보
• Conducting detailed market research and competitive analysis
• Staying updated on the latest technologies to automate processes and improve efficiency
